Scrub experienceis preferred and schedule flexibility is critical.
The OR with 26spacious high-tech suites may be just what you're looking for. Both inpatientand outpatient procedures are done in these ORs, care is provided to patientsof all age's neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatrics.
Responsibilities:Alisting of the key responsibilities.
Oversees clinical, equipment, instrumentation and supply needs forPlastics, ENT, Eyes and Oral Surgery cases within the Main OperatingRoom.
Works collaboratively with surgeons and the manager to insure thatOR cases have everything needed on the day of surgery.
- Works with staff to identify and meet their educational needs
Participates in performance management of staff members to includecoaching, preparation of performance evaluations, and the performancemanagement process. Initiates disciplinary action as appropriate.
Addresses conflicts as they may arise.Assists/mediates to maintain smooth operations of the unit. Involves unitleadership as needed.
Graduatefrom an accredited Nursing Program required.
Bachelor’sDegree (e.g. BSN, BA, BS) at time of hire, or degree expected within 36 monthsof hire.
2years of progressive responsibility within an acute care setting required.
Specialtycertification preferred.
Mustobtain and maintain clinical competencies within assigned unit.
Excellentwritten, verbal and computer skills required.
Demonstratedabilities with problem solving, leadership, communication, fiscalresponsibility and teamwork.
Abilityto work effectively in groups of employees and with patients and patientfamilies is essential.
RequiredLicensure/Certification Skills:
LicensedRegistered Nurse in New Hampshire required.
BasicLife Support (BLS) or higher per unit specific requirements
